-Learn the actual chocolate cake recipe that Jason uses when competing on the FOOD NETWORK! Skills include proper cake mixing and how to prep your pans so your cakes never stick. Donuts and Coffee are provided during this portion of the class!

BAKING BOOT CAMP WITH JASON SERIES - Italian Meringue Buttercream Made Easy

9:30am-11:00am

-Oh yeahhhhh .... Italian Meringue Buttercream, the good stuff! Tips include making smallbatch Italian Meringue Frosting at home! 100% butter, 100% deliciousness.

BAKING BOOT CAMP WITH JASON SERIES - Cake Slice Composition (how to fill the INSIDE of your cakes for the prettiest slices every time)

11:30am-1:00pm

-Cakes can be pretty on the OUTSIDE but learn how to make them pretty on the INSIDE too! Techniques will include - checkerboard fillings, fresh fruit fillings and ombre layered buttercream. Also, how to crumb coat your cakes.

BAKING BOOT CAMP WITH JASON SERIES - From crumb coat to PERFECTION!

2:15pm-4:30pm

-90 degree edges! You'll hear Jason say this a lot during this part of the class! We want our cakes to be beautifully frosted with 90 degree corners. How? Let Jason show you the proper tools and tips to get the job done right every time! Once frosted, pre made decorations will be made available to finish your cakes! Of course, all students are also encouraged to take an lnstagram worthy picture of their cakes in our lightbox up front before leaving.

* Since we will be decorating hands-on with materials that may stain clothing, we recommend wearing clothes that can get messy without worry, bringing an apron from home; or, purchasing an apron from CAKE *

* Children must be at least 12 years of age or above to participate *

Customized aprons can be purchased for $20 until Friday, July 19, 2019 , and CAKE aprons can be purchased on the day of the event!
